As businesses and organizations continue to face rising utility costs, Brick House Blue chose to invest in solar energy as a way to gain greater control over long-term operating expenses and help protect against future electric rate increases. Located within a thoughtfully restored historic landmark in Plain City, Ohio, the facility serves as a hub for entrepreneurs, professionals, and community organizations through its coworking spaces, private offices, meeting rooms, and event venues.
After successfully collaborating on other projects within the Westwood Collective portfolio, the team once again partnered with Gold Path Solar to design and install a system that aligned with their long-term goals. This commercial solar installation helps offset a significant portion of the property’s electricity usage, creating more predictable energy costs while supporting continued investment in the spaces and experiences that make the facility a valuable community resource. By generating clean energy on-site, Brick House Blue is demonstrating how historic properties can embrace innovative solutions that strengthen both their financial sustainability and environmental impact.
This system features 105 SEG 440W solar panels with a SolarEdge 50K-US inverter, delivering reliable performance and efficient energy production throughout the year. Producing clean electricity on-site helps stabilize energy costs and ensures the building can continue serving the community while reducing its environmental footprint.
