Our Process

Below is an outline of our process from onboarding complete to ongoing support & warranty.

It’s important to note that not all permitting jurisdictions & utility companies are the same, so your specific process may not require every step outlined, or may require an additional step.

  • Gold Path Solar contract signed
  • Financing or first payment secured
  • Any additional information collected
  • Site survey tech will reach out for scheduling
  • Once completed, we will upload all information to our engineering portal
  • Create engineering planset
  • Receive required engineering stamps
  • Final internal planset review
  • Submit applications for utility interconnection & local permits
  • Wait for utility & permit office to approve applications
  • Receive utility & permit go-aheads to install
  • Project booked in our scheduling queue
  • Schedule & complete installation
  • Schedule, complete & pass final inspection
  • Submit inspection to utility for final approval
  • Receive final permission to operate (PTO)
  • We will help you turn your system on and access your monitoring app
  • You’ll now begin powering your home with the sun!
  • You will receive a 30, 60 & 90 day Quality Assurance check in email from your Solar Advocate
  • Our team will always be available for support and to help your friends & family members go solar!
