Brian W. lives in Columbus, Ohio, where options for solar were everywhere — and he’d been thinking about making the change to renewables for quite a while. After reading online reviews and reaching out to multiple solar companies, he ultimately connected with Gold Path Solar. Brian was also familiar with Jake Trubiano, one of Gold Path Solar’s co-founders, and had heard he was something of a local celebrity in the solar world—an extra vote of confidence as he compared his options.
A 10.32 kW rooftop solar system was designed by one of our dedicated Solar Guides, using Qcells DUO BLK ML G10+ 405W panels, paired with industry standard Enphase IQ8M microinverters to meet and exceed the proposed annual energy production. The system was projected to produce 10,833 kWh of clean energy per year which helped offset Brian’s energy usage by 96%, delivering strong performance while making the most of Brian’s available roof space.
After finalizing the system design and reviewing the projected production, Brian gave the green light to move ahead. Gold Path Solar coordinated every step that followed, from the on-site evaluation and permitting to utility approvals and scheduling. The installation itself was completed in a single day, seamlessly transitioning Brian’s home to solar and beginning the production of clean, renewable energy right away.
From start to finish, Brian valued the proactive communication and guidance from his dedicated GPS Solar Guide. Once the system was energized, his guide walked him through the Enphase App, showing him how to monitor performance, track energy production, and understand his savings over time—giving him full visibility into the impact of his solar investment.
