Martha and George are both educators, one with a business background and one in the arts. After moving into a new home in Belpre, they found that they had underestimated their monthly electric expense but a large amount, it was over $200 more a month than anticipated. They turned to solar panels for the answer. Martha happened to work with Bill, a current Gold Path Solar homeowner who installed solar panels on his home earlier in 2024, and was seeing fantastic results.

After speaking with Martha and George, it became clear that something needed to be done about their electric bill. The proposed system would produce enough kWhs of clean solar energy to meet the entire home’s electric demand, saving them over $100/month in cost. Martha and George signed up for solar, and Gold Path took the project from there. The site survey was scheduled, the plan was created, and approval to install was granted. A quick and easy one-day installation later and Martha and George were ready to start saving! Permission to operate was then granted from the utility company, AEP, and the solar panels became operational. They are now enjoying savings and are protected from rising rates in the future!

The system consists of 34 Silfab 30 Year Warranty panels and 34 IQM Enphase microinverters, along with an IronRidge HUG mount railing system and the Gold Path Solar labor warranty. Our installation crew was not deterred by the metal roof and has over a decade of infield experience. Martha and George gave us glowing reviews, and they are now protected from rising rates, click below to hear from Martha!
