Stephen W. had recently moved into his new home in Delaware, Ohio when he reached out to us about going solar! Rattled by how high his AEP bill was in the colder months, he was interested in learning about how solar panels could ease the cost of electricity each month with the fear of the cost of utilities rising even higher down the road. As Stephen learned more about Gold Path Solar’s multitude of positive reviews and unique referral based business platform, he decided that GPS was the right company to go with.
After analyzing Stephen’s monthly energy use and learning about his new electric appliances he plans to get in the future, we designed a 13.77 kW system that would be installed on two roof planes. This system was created using 34 Qcells DUO BLK ML G10+ 405W panels, combined with Enphase IQ8M microinverters to produce 16,600 kWh of electricity, enough to cover 100% of Stephen’s estimated electricity usage. Using two roof planes, we were able to maximize energy production while still maintaining an HOA compliant design.
Once the design was finalized and expectations were clearly outlined, Stephen was ready to move forward. Gold Path Solar handled the entire process—from site evaluation and permitting to utility coordination and scheduling—making the experience simple and stress-free. Installation was completed efficiently, allowing Stephen’s panels to begin generating clean, renewable energy almost immediately.
Throughout the journey, Stephen was met with clear communication and hands-on support from his dedicated GPS Solar Guide. After the system was energized, his guide walked him through the Enphase App, explaining how to track energy production, monitor system performance, and see the real-world impact of his solar investment—putting control and insight right at his fingertips.
