Hilliard, Ohio is taking bold steps toward a greener future—and leading the charge is the Westwood Fieldhouse. In a forward-thinking collaboration between Hilliard developer Andy Warnock of the Westwood Collective and Gold Path Solar co-founder Jake Trubiano, a Hilliard Davidson graduate, the Fieldhouse has recently added a new rooftop solar energy system designed to reduce costs and environmental impact for years to come.

This installation is part of a larger initiative to make Hilliard businesses more sustainable and energy-independent. Alongside the Westwood Fieldhouse, other local favorites—Sexton’s Pizza, The Junction, and The One9 Golf Lounge—are also embracing solar energy thanks to this community-rooted partnership.

The project consists of 238 Silfab 430W QD solar panels and SolarEdge 100kW inverters, which will produce enough power to supply 96% of the current kWh demand from the facility. Powering the building with its own energy during Ohio’s hot summer days and cold winter nights were top priorities of Andy and the team, guaranteeing that both athletes and spectators are comfortable year round.
